Who is this dude with a name like “Peshi”?!? Peshi, as he is widely known, is a guitarist and multi – instrumentalist who has already accomplished quite a great deal in the music industry at a relatively young age. He’s a major label recording artist, studio guitarist, songwriter, touring musician, and teacher. Most notably, he was the lead guitarist of E.M.I.’s “The Drama Club”, who toured every corner of the United States MANY times as direct support for the likes of Breaking Benjamin, 311, Papa Roach, Fuel, Chevelle, Candlebox, Cold, etc.
Prior to “The Drama Club”, Peshi was signed to two other major labels – Atlantic Records and Sony – as well as establishing himself as an in-demand studio guitarist. In between tours he was also a member of Philadelphia’s “Steamroller Picnic” who were one of the most popular cover bands on the east coast, at the time. As a teenager Peshi was selected three years in a row, as one of twenty students from around the country, to be a member of “The COTA Cats” - a group headed by Grammy winning jazz legend Phil Woods and made up of some of the biggest names in jazz (most of them Grammy winners), who would rehearse and perform alongside the twenty selected students, all as members of the same band!
Peshi has current endorsement contracts with Gibson guitars, Ernie Ball/Music Man, Seymour Duncan pickups, Mesa Boogie amps, and R.S. Guitarworks electronics. He has been teaching guitar, bass, and drums professionally for over ten years; six of them as an instructor at various School of Rock locations in NJ and PA. Teaching is something quite close to Peshi’s heart; something that he swore to himself he’d never stop doing, no matter the amount of success the future might bring. After all, who wouldn’t want to teach the youth of America how to ROCK!?!?!?!?
